Bachelor internship

BACHELOR’S INTERNSHIP – REQUIREMENTS FOR CREDIT

 

Completion of the Bachelor’s Internship is a prerequisite for successfully finishing Bachelor’s studies across all academic study programs, whether in full-time, combined, or lifelong learning modes.
Credit for the Bachelor’s Internship will be awarded upon fulfillment of the obligations defined below and the submission of required documents/confirmations (which vary by study program) in the appropriate format (electronically as a single file) to the designated location (jobs.pef.czu.cz) by the deadlines specified below.

 

I. FULL-TIME STUDIES

A) STUDY PROGRAMS (BA, EM, INFOA)

To successfully complete the Bachelor’s Internship, students in the BA, EM, and INFOA programs must:

  • submit a confirmation form (Internship Completion Record) verifying the completion of a professional internship lasting at least 120 hours that aligns with the study program’s focus and the graduate profile (students submit this confirmation via the jobs.pef.czu.cz portal); and simultaneously
  • attend at least one professional lecture or workshop from the selection offered as part of the Bachelor’s Internship (a list of lectures/workshops included in the Bachelor’s Internship is available on the jobs.pef.czu.cz/events/en portal, where registration for the lectures also takes place).

To receive credit for attending the Bachelor's Internship lecture, you must:

  • register for the lecture/workshop on the jobs.pef.czu.cz/events/en portal, and
  • verify your attendance at the lecture/workshop using your physical CZU identification card (i.e., the student ID card issued by CZU)! Attendance at the lecture/workshop will be recorded via an electronic attendance tracking system.
  • Each student will be required to confirm their attendance by tapping their card against the reader.

You must always carry your active ISIC card (also referred to as an ID card) with you! Card activation takes place at the Student Cash Desk. Readers will not recognize an inactive card, and your attendance at lectures will not be recorded.

The requirements for the Bachelor's Internship may be fulfilled at any time during your Bachelor's studies. The credit for the Bachelor's Internship will be recorded in the UIS only during the final semester of study (i.e., the 6th semester), provided all study obligations are duly met.

Students may upload the required confirmations and certificates to the jobs.pef.czu.cz portal on an ongoing basis via their personal profile in the "Moje praxe" (My Internship) section.

According to the academic year schedule, the deadline for submitting all materials required to complete the Bachelor's Internship and receive credit for the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year is December 11, 2026, by 23:59. The deadline for submitting all materials required to complete the Bachelor's Internship and receive credit for the summer semester of the 2026/2027 academic year is April 9, 2027, by 23:59.

    • Lectures from professional practice that form part of specific course curricula are not included in the Bachelor's Internship professional lectures.
    • Information, inquiries, and credit approval regarding the Bachelor's Internship are handled by the study programme contact person.
